SuperCrash & Sound Wars

Jaime's band is vying for the headlining gig at the Austin Chronicle's Hot Sauce Festival later this year. The Chronicle is choosing the band through an online battle of the band contest dubbed Sound Wars. You can vote once a day...and I'd surely appreciate you voting for SuperCrash. Each band has an mp3 up of an original song so you can listen before voting. SuperCrash posted "Another Lover" the sweet sweet song about love...and murder. A singer songwriter in the contest has posted what I think is the best song title ever: "I Knew I Knew I'd Hit Rock Bottom (When I Woke Up On Top of You). John Ford gets props for that.

This little piggy went to market.
This little piggy stayed at home.
This little piggy had roast beef,
This little piggy had none.
And this little piggy cried "Wee! Wee! Wee!" all the way home.

I'm venturing into freelance writing these days. I'm still finding my feet (and my voice) but I think it's a good gig. I'm covering Austin restaurants for a website called the Examiner.
