Top 10 Movies

I always get those emails where you are supposed to get to know your friends better by answering about 25 questions including things like whether you prefer mayonnaise or Miracle Whip and your favorite movie/book/tv show. I can't ever decide on just one. So, off the top of my head and most likely forgetting a real top 10 fave, here is my movie list. Please, no groaning comments over my taste or lack of it! But definitely drop me a comment with your top 10 flicks! These movies aren't in any particular order, just the top 10 that I watch over and over...you know, the one where you're lazily channel surfing and end up on TNT and decide it's a good day to watch it just one more time.
  1. Steel Magnolias
  2. Latter Days
  3. Star Wars
  4. Interview With the Vampire
  5. Jaws
  6. The Sound of Music
  7. Grease
  8. The Terminator
  9. The Color Purple
  10. Gone With the Wind

I could totally do a runner's up list, but alas, there are just too many to list. My favorite movies would probably be a list of close to a 100 and that would be just too long of a post. So, what are your's?

I love movies on everyone's lists! Ah, "Escape To Witch Mountain"! Did you know that Kim Richards (Tia) is Paris Hilton's aunt? Her sister is Kathy (Richard) Hilton. DKP and I were quite bored one day...and the internet is full of interesting facts. I soooo wanted a Star Box just like Tia's. And "The Goonies". My fav is the maid who kept screaming at the kids in Spanish about how if they didn't behave themselves she was going to lock them up or make them stay on the roof or something, can't remember now. And "Fried Green Tomatoes" was good but they sure didn't elaborate much on the lesbian relationship. Just enough to make it the poster movie for 30-40-something lesbians. It was certainly a huge improvement on lesbian love stories before then. I think I was the only person to see "Desert Hearts" and think OMG what a bad plot and horrible acting. "Billy Elliot" is a heartwarming story that always makes me cry. If you can get past the thick accents it is really good. "Grosse Point Blank" is all guilty pleasure for me. I adore John Cusak. And who can't love "Freddy Vs. Jason"?

It was Corey Feldman's character that was telling the maid that if she didn't clean she'd be locked in the closet with the cockroaches. He also told her which drawers the cocaine, marijuana and heroin went in.
